Year 4 & 5 Writing Workshop

On Tuesday 2nd February, a handful of our talented writers represented Years 4 and 5 at a writing workshop held at Waterloo Primary. The workshop offered the children the chance to craft their own spooky story and become published authors on, a global literacy initiative for children of primary school age, created with the purpose of allowing them to share their writing and giving them a worldwide audience. Apparently Michael Morpurgo is a fan!

Minal and Anish from Y4, and Summer, Tristan, Andrew and Anaya from Y5, were the children who attended the workshop and they were an absolute credit to themselves, their families and Holden Clough in terms of both the work they produced and the way they conducted themselves. If you have a few minutes spare, please visit and look at the 'Recent Days' section where you will find the work of our children. It really is worth a read!
