Spellings

In order to consolidate the phonemes learnt in our weekly phonics sessions children will be a list of spellings containing the grapheme practised each week. As a result the children’s spellings will vary depending on which phonics group they are in.  A copy of each weeks spellings are listed below.

Easter Half Term

 

The children have been sent home with a copy of the phase 5 tricky words to practise over half term. We will be choosing a random 10 words for our spelling test the first Friday back (20th April).

February Half Term

 

As the children have worked so hard this half term there will be no spellings set over the half term holidays. Spellings will be provided on the first Friday back (2.3.18) to be tested the following Friday (9.3.18).
