Homework

Homework - Year 6

The Year 6 homework policy differs slightly from the rest of the school. For any further information please check class dojo or alternatively speak to Mr Porter or Miss Hollingworth. Homework allocations are stated below.

Monday - Pages from CGP Maths Book - set by Mr Porter/Miss Hollingworth to coincide with whichever unit/area is being taught in class.  To be returned the following Monday whereby we will mark as a class addressing misconceptions.

Wednesday – Maths arithmetic paper given out to be returned the following Tuesday whereby we will mark as a class addressing misconceptions.

Thursday - Pages from CGP SPAG book -  set by Mr Porter/Miss Hollingworth to coincide with whichever concept /area is being taught in class.  To be returned the following Thursday whereby we will mark as a class addressing misconceptions.

There is also an expectation that children read every day.  Recommended reading lists can be found below.  It also important children continue to develop their arithmetical proficiency by accessing Mathletics and TT Rockstars.

Should this homework not be completed children will be asked to attend lunchtime homework club, and continual non presentation of homework may lead to children being invited to after-school homework club.
